We are a group of English-speaking people, open to all nationalities, who perform a traditional British pantomime in the Geli Albaladejo theatre in San Pedro del Pinatar at the end of November every year. We have been active for 15 years and do three or four panto performances to sell-out audiences of both expats and local Spanish adults and children. We are a non-profit organisation and donate funds to several local charities including AFEMAR (for children and young people with mental health problems). We rehearse on Wednesday mornings starting in early September and have daily rehearsals during the week before the performance. We are always on the lookout for new actors, stage crew, prop and costume makers and other volunteers to help with publicity and front of house duties. Our pantomimes are original as they fuse both English and Spanish languages in their dialogues and songs. Few of our actors are fluent in Spanish and we give plenty of support in learning and delivering lines. We are a very friendly group and organise several social events during the year.
