At Studio32, we are very fortunate to have an amazing group of enthusiastic people who collectively produce high quality musical theatre and perform to audiences at Cardenal Belluga Theatre twice yearly. We are graced with dedicated teams in all of our departments. In the wardrobe department, seamstresses design and make costumes following the guidelines given by our director and production manager. Carpenters build the stage for each individual show and work alongside our painters and props makers. In every show, we attempt to re-use and recycle as much as possible as part of our ethics and contribution to the local community. We are also very fortunate to have a back stage crew who are an integral part of each show. These include our lighting and sound operaters, without whom, there would be no show. On performance days, the Front of House team keep everything running smoothly and our audiences looked after in true professional theatre manner.
The cast is composed of long established actors many of whom have a vast history of entertaining, who act alongside and encourage new enthusiastic members to the stage. The dedication shown by the whole cast pays off in volumes when the performances delight our audiences. The reviews received following each show rightly praise the hard work that goes into producing high end quality musical theatre. Behind the scenes is a dedicated committee who ensure the smooth running of the group and ensure best practice for Studio32 as a whole.
Our door is always open to new members who may wish to become part of a group such as ours. Friendships, support, laughter and dedication are all high on the agenda. We are also proud to support local charities and to date have gifted over €46,000 to local needs. With your support, we can continue to make a difference to people's lives.
