Spain Walking Football
Team Spain is the organisation behind the development and international promotion of walking football in Spain. Its mission goes beyond selecting national teams for competition. The organisation is committed to growing the sport at grassroots and community level, helping more people enjoy the social, physical, and mental health benefits of walking football while creating strong foundations for future national squads.
Through its work across the country, Team Spain supports players, clubs, referees, and coaches by delivering coaching sessions, facilitating local tournaments, hosting referee and coaching courses, and providing practical resources for clubs and participants. The organisation also helps players find local teams, encourages wider participation in all age groups, and works to make the sport accessible to both Spanish and international players living in Spain.
At representative level, Team Spain organises and manages national squads for men and women in different age categories, giving players in Spain the opportunity to compete in international tournaments. The organisation has already helped Spain establish a growing presence on the global walking football stage and continues to expand its reach through events, partnerships, and nationwide activity.
Above all, Team Spain is dedicated to building a positive, inclusive, and sustainable walking football culture in Spain.
